Now this piece of info sounds really intersting.
The plans are to let what the Users do reflect in the actual content of the Television show.
So if you have a huge battle over iron ore (let us say) then the TV show will write a story that references that battle.

The Sci Fi channel is running a Firefly marathon on Monday, Feb 18th.
Get some snacks, sit back, and enjoy traveling through the verse!
The entire run will be aired. Even if you have the DVD it is worth watching.
