Do you ever get in one of those moods where you don’t want to listen to that rock track *again?* Tired of hearing Lady Gaga 500 times in one night? Want to see about adding different tunes to your mp3 collection?

This site has a bunch of different channels, with music that tends towards the electronic side. It goes from the eclectic to the just…weird. However you sometimes might just feel inclined to want to hear something out of the ordinary. They have a channel dedicated to transcipts of moon missions mixed with music, one covering underground music of the 80′s, one that just plays cover music… The list goes on. Go there and check it out yourself.
Who knows what you’ll find.
I like to listen to chill stuff when ‘ve been in a situation where I am angry. It helps calm me down a bit. I like the selection this website has to offer. If I am not in the mood for one thing, I can easily try something else.
A joke I made up when I was about 6 or 7:
What is the only rock band up on current events?
HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS! HAHAHAHAHA
…. Okay maybe it isn’t that great, but this song is. One of my favorite HL&TN songs. I love the video too.
I still think they don’t make videos like they used to…
Oh, I love the scantily clad women in LA. Now they’d actually be wearing underwear as clothing…

This song has a special place in my heart. It reminds me of one of the better times I had in college…
90′s song of the day – Rebirth of Slick (Cool like that) – Digable Planets
July 1st, 2010 | by WarrenBack when Hip hop actually had some creativity put into it. Remember that? Way back in the day…
‘Cause it was cool like that…
Ah yeah…taking it down a notch here. Gotta get all slow and emotional – We are all out of love…in the 80′s.
Breath in and hold in your tears for this next track.
After an interesting conversation with a friend of mine about a certain former singer, I was reminded of this song. It is my favorite version of Smooth Criminal, giving it a harder edge then the original had. I love how the video reflects and parodies much of the singers existence.
Turn up your speakers then click play and get ready to rock out.
As we resurrect our long dormant “Song of the day” posts, I feel like I need to salute my many friends from New Zealand and Australia. Being someone that tends to stay up late at night and use the net, I have come across many of these folks over the last 10 years. I have not met one that hasn’t been nice (Though there must be a few.) With that I give you “Land Down Under” by Men at Work.
To those down under, we give you a Random Salute!
