A Series of Unfortunate Stuff…
May 29th, 2008I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted and I just wanted to let our loyal visitors know why.
I’ve been going thru the typical turmoils of life in this day and age, divorce, moving, money issues, trying to readjust to new things, the list goes on. I’m not typically a whiner, I figure Gods blessed with me more than I deserve so why complain about a few little problems, right?
Well, as with all things, life never stops and it never really gets any easier. It’s just how we each deal with the changes individually, IMHO. As some may know I am a media tech for a college here in Arizona. Not your typical hazardous duty type of work but things happen even with us. As fate would have it, I hurt myself at work in a most rediculous way. I apparently injured myself quite eggregiously by simply picking up a six foot ladder. I looks like a torn muscle in my left elbow. Stupid, huhn?
Just to let you know, I am a lefty so everything has been affected. I write, draw, shoot, eat, wave, etc. with my left hand. I am somewhat ambidextrious but I still throw like a little girl with my right arm and write like a first grader, so you get the drift.
Drawing is out of the question, can’t do that worth a hoot using my right hand, so the Random Encounters saga will put on hold for a bit.
Despite some popular beliefs(ehem…Warren) I didn’t do it to get out of work, I typically put out the sick or dying dog excuse for that. Heh
Anyway, I will still be doing stuff, maybe I’ll continue the Valentrix saga. I just wanted to let you all know what’s going on and to say thanks to my friends for helping me through the rough spots.
So, thanks Warren and Wes, two of the best friends a guy could be blessed with, and thanks to Belinda my most awesome girlfriend and best friend.
