This weekend my brother came down so Sat was Guitar Hero III and Wii Sports (bowling/tennis). Other than that I was playing more Monster Hunter on my PSP (still loving it). Also picked up Two Worlds (review later on) on Steam for $10 and played it some along with M&M Dark Messiah (it’s fun being bad) and of course WOW. Don and I had a huge throw down at Un’Goro Crater (thanks to everyone that helped out).

Also watched Grind House and Death Proof. I liked Death Proof (Kurt was having too much fun playing that role…you could tell). DP had some great car chases and crashes with some good old fashion vigilante justice to boot. Grind House wasn’t so great. It would have been more entertaining if the machine gun leg girl came in earlier and I wasn’t happy that the scenes she had were all in the trailer (I hate that). Some of the over the top gore/violence made me laugh in a few parts but it got old quick. Also you can’t have a great over the top zombie flick without Bruce Campbell. Hail to the King baby!

Also liked Jumper though overall it was average….probably helped that I didn’t read the book as I’ve heard it is only loosely based from it. I thought the premise was cool and certain aspects of the movie like watching how the jumping worked and what you could or couldn’t do. Some of the acting was phoned in especially Samuel…he wasn’t bad but he wasn’t great either…kind of like the movie as a whole.
