So I played the demo of the Witcher and absolutely loved it.

However I haven’t bought the game yet and I’m glad I didn’t…although it *has* sold 600,000 copies. (Good amount for a game based on the works of a little known author..well little known here in the USA.) The devs behind the game have decided to go back and make and “Enhanced” version of the game, correcting a lot of the issues that have come up. They feel it is a good opportunity to put out a better product, with loads of extras.

It’ll retail at the same price as the current version and include extras like a Making of DVD, sound track, art book, etc.

In a move that more publishers should follow, all this content will be downloadable to current game owners.
