It’s official folks: HD-DVD as format, is dead.

As my earnest co-reporter stated yesterday, the format is no longer a viable option for anyone.

Toshiba will no longer produce the HD-DVD players and Wal-Mart is liquidating the stock.

Sorry for all of you that have an HD-DVD player; must be what people that bought beta max felt like in the early 80’s.

Ah well, this just fuels my desire to obtain a ps3. Thanks Sony..thanks a lot..punks.
