Awesome Home Theater Setups

Sections, Technology: January 30th, 2008

These are unbelievable and make me sick at the same time. I love home theaters…these are outragous. The Star Trek ones are the best but the bat cave pulls a close second.

Skype on PSP

Gaming, Handheld, Sections: January 30th, 2008

Brian @ Kotaku  filmed a  cool little hands on demo of Skype on the PSP.  I’m all excited as I use the full blown Skype services so it will be cool to use my PSP as a Wi-fi cell phone.  Sweet.

PS3 review - Polystation FTW!

Gaming, Sections: January 30th, 2008

No, not a review of the Playstation 3…
But the POLY station three…  Poly for polygons I guess?
Although there aren’t any to be found in this Chinese steaming pile of scat knock off.
Check out the video review here.
Be warned, it contains a few Bioshok spoilers near the end.
If you haven’t beat bioshock, stop listening when he opens up the device.
Enjoy the PS3 review!

The music world, is a changin’

Music, Sections: January 30th, 2008

To put it bluntly, people just aren’t buying Compact Discs any longer.
Sure some are, but the CD is starting to be come as old fashioned as a Vinyl Record.
Ars Technica has a great article on this trend, stating that the music industry isn’t dying…
It is just evolving.
People are buying (Yes..buying) more and more digital music.
Emusic, the second party music service to first party Itunes, has had a banner year.
The reason? DRM free and high quality digital music.
It is a very good time to be a music lover.  More and more artists are going independent and music sales are on the rise.
CD sales? Nope..but music sales are.
Check out the full article here, it is a great read.
Makes me want to thumb my nose at the RIAA once again.
