Sony dropping Rear Projection TV’s.

Along with Hitachi and Seiko Epson. I guess rear projection monitors are going the way of the Dodo.

I wonder if this is a good or a bad thing.  I have an older tv, so I’m not sure. I plan on getting a wide screen HD this year, but don’t know when.

I know at least one person that is happy with his HD Widscreen rear projection TV however…
