What do I think of this?
One of my favorite series of all time is the fallout series (now owned by Bethesada.)
The Fallout games, the three for the PC, are three of my favorite games ever. If they can take that world and port it faithfully into an Massively Multiplayer Game, I would really really have to at least play it for awhile. I’m not so sure this can be accomplished but we shall see. Other properties they are working on are Earthworm Jim (awesome game) sequel and a sequel to Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance. Both would be great, but I’m a little cynical on whether or not this company can pull it off. This is the same company that axed the original Fallout 3 and a few other great franchises. Interplay has a great history; they are the ones the first published the games from Silicon and Synapses (IE: Blizzard) and also helped jump start the Role Playing revolution in the mid 90s. I wish Interplay luck and hope they can get back reputation they used to have. They will have to make some smart business decisions and work hard, but more power to them.
I still want to see a Fallout MMO….
